    Exclamation Evo AccessPORT Beta Firmware Update 1.2.7.0...

    Hey all,

    Below are installation instructions for a beta release of an updated Evolution VIII/IX AP v2.0 firmware.

    Change Log:
    * Live Data Revamp
    - Faster update speed
    - Fresh new Look
    - Added parameters
    - Max/min displayed for current parameter

    * Dongle Updater
    - AP will update your dongle(cable) firmware to the latest version

    Instructions:
    1. Download and install the latest version of AccessPORT Manager

    2. Download and run AP-MIT-001.exe

    3. Connect the AccessPORT to your PC/laptop using the supplied USB cable.
    *NOTE: Your computer will display a "Found New Hardware" bubble if this is the first time you have connected your AccessPORT. If requested for a driver, point the windows installer to "C:\Program Files\AccessPORT Manager"

    4. Launch the AccessPORT Manager software by double clicking the icon on your computer's desktop.

    5. In the AccessPORT Manager software, click the Help pull-down menu and select Install latest firmware to AccessPORT.

    6. Once the firmware installation is complete, we recommend that you click the Eject button on AccessPORT Manager, then go to the About menu on the AccessPORT itself to verify that the firmware has been successfully updated to version 1.2.7.x.

    7. You're finished. The first time the AccessPORT is powered using the dongle(cable), you may be prompted to update your dongle. Follow on screen instructions.

    We look forward to your feedback.

    Thanks,

    Rob,

    back in April when Stephen tuned the car it uploaded what sounds like this 'beta' test version.

    Do I then already have what you described above or should I download this as well?

    Thank you Rob

    The current beta is slightly revised in the GUI look and feel. You are more than welcome to update.

    It's been a long time since I've had my AP plugged in so I can't remember what it used to look like, but I definitely like this new look better.

    Hi Guys,

    The beta AP firmware has been rev'ed again to fix a long/short term fuel trims. EGR and Barometric pressure have been removed from Live Data due to customer requests.

    Thanks,
    Rob
