Soon I will receive Q-Rack's mounting brackets for the steering rack on my 02 REX. I understand it is best to remove the rack to properly install and align these mounts. My problem is that I don't know the best way to remove the steering rack. I'm hoping someone can explain the process to me.
The reason I will install these brackets is my OEM bushings are shot, allowing excessive play in the steering. The brackets replace the bushings. I have the Q-Rack 11.5:1 rack and have enjoyed it for several years now. When the stock bushings failed moving up to the brackets seems a logical.
