I'm going to wait and see what Subaru is going to do with the next gen WRX and STI before I put money down on a BRZ. Hopefully in that amount of time Subaru will decide if they want to turbo the BRZ or not.

I had pretty much resolved myself that if I got one, they would come out with a turbo in 2 years. I wanted an STi in '02, and bought a WRX. I fully expect the same thing to happen again. It wasn't all bad. They listened to me on the USDM STi, and it turned out pretty much exactly how I wanted.

Its good that you found a dealer that wasn't going to rape you on price. The Scion people don't seem to be doing as well with that.

I'm 200mi from the nearest dealer in just about any direction. Something to be said for small dealers out in the middle of nowhere vs the big cities.

Hi kids, it's been a while so I thought I'd drop by and show off a pic of my wonderful wifey and her new (to her) ride, an '05 Outback. Picked it up last weekend and we've already cracked the windshield . Otherwise, it's a pretty nice car. My WRX just went from daily driver status to garage queen.

The Outback might just be cursed. Within a week of buying it, the windshield cracked, a CV boot failed and it got a nail in a tire. On a different note, I'll be racing in the Lone Pine Time Trials next weekend. It's like a super-sized autocross, 80mph plus. http://www.lonepinetimetrials.com/

Life on the farm is just another day in paradise, eh dood??

You'll get use to it and find out that you can actually hang up political FACTs without too much of a fuss...and if you want you can place a bible on your table...just to get a reaction but you are protected via Clinton EO...that is if O didn't resend it...

You and the rest of the gov't pukes are gonna get the short shaft, regardless of who is in charge of the administration...budget balancing begins on the backs of the employees...and collective bargaining was undone under Carter...so the UNION is and has always been useless for the feds. AFLCIO is having a great time under team O. LOL Money is the bottom line. pfft.

Now that you are in, you can make your mark...you can influence change. Fight the good fight with gentleness and respect and they won't mess with ya...be a servant first...work your arse off...gain respect and then wait for them to ask you why you are such a decent person...let them ask you why...then the door is open for you to say what you please...takes about 3 to 6 years to get to that point...IMHO
