    hello forum,

    today is a very happy day for me here in brazil...
    i just got my GT-R

    and as i was surfing the net about the car i was able to find about the wonderfull world of Cobb!!!

    my previous setups, here in brazil, all used a piggy back computer (unichip) with custom setups. (that we do here on a dyno)

    the reason for beeing custom maps all the way is because we use a very hi mix of ethanol (25%) to the gasoline.

    the result of that is acctualy pleasing as we get more power!!!

    however there is a set back... if i use standard US maps i end up running lean.
    as ethanoll requires larger quantitys of fuel to the air/fuel mix.

    so my question is... am i able to custom my maps through accessport???
    please remember i have access to a dyno to do so...

    thank you very much for any help... as i would realy love to use your device here in brazil.... and not only for my GT-R... but for a couple other cars...

    We have tuning software availbe for tuning shops to buy, but we do not have anything for the individual user to use to modify their tune.

    We do however provide E-Tuning. What you do is data log with your AccessPORT and then send that file to one of our tuners. They will then make you a custom map for you car and have you data log it again. This will happen one or two times more and then you have a custom tune done just for you car. If you have any questions PM me and I'll get you all the good info.

    Ummm.....does the AP support a Brazilian ECU?? Is it even a Brazilian specific ECU or maybe a JDM???

    They don't make a Brazilian, GT-R yet :-) He has either a JDM or a USDM GT-R.

    Well, then you can get a COBB AP V2, datalog your setup & fuel and send the maps to COBB so they can tweak the maps.

    There has been discussion within the US on getting:

    1-Ethanol maps
    2-Consumer version of the tuning software

    We can get ethanol/gas blends here in the US, but the % of ethanol is lower than some countries such as Brazil.

    Hello everyone...
    I have a very similar question so I'll post it here.
    I also live in Brazil and my car is a 2007 Subaru WRX Wagon.
    Can I do the same thing? I mean. buy the AP and e-tune?

    What country was your Subaru built for??
