Not knowing EXACTLY which 2007 you have, you can read mapnotes here...http://www.accessecu.com/accessport/.../Z_Series.html

It appears the rev limiter is raised 500RPM, some cars use that along with the gear to limit speed, yours "may" use the speed sensor.

That is very interesting, I'll add that to my list of thing to keep an eye out for in the roms. I can totally see Nissan doing that.

I have a base 2007 350z hr engine 6spd manual trans, usdm model. It just sits at around the 240kph mark 7000rpm in 5th, i still have one gear left and now the 8000 redline from the AP, anyway to get rid of that speed limiter??? I raced a 06 dodge charger and i could beat him till top speed he could catch me cause i topped out. Any help????? Thanks

I'll see what I can find. did the speed limiter affect fifth or fifth and sixth gear?

    Also.

    240 km/h for both gears?

I hope your going that fast somewhere safe Next time shift a bit earlier and let me know if there is a limiter on sixth gear, or if it is only for fifth.
