Thread: AP will not read higher than 22.7 all of a sudden!

Default AP will not read higher than 22.7 all of a sudden!

I have a 2010 ms3. I have had a 3 bar map sensor on it for close to a year, and it has read up to 27 psi since you made that possible in atr.

2 days ago I downloaded the beta atr w the latency injector table. I could not download the ap manger beta though, because w the beta ap manager, my computer would not recognize my ap (tried installing like four times), so I used the regular update path for the manager instead.

All worked fine and I have made 3 revisions to my map since the update. Then yesterday I did a log and boost read as normal (25-27psi at wot). The. I did another log ON THE SAME MAP and it only read to 22.7. It holds this value perfectly (no fluctuation once this psi is reached). It is not a mechanical issue as afrs and wgdc are reading normal (not rich or lean or not enough/too muh wgdc).

Edit: I am on a gtx3076 t3 and running 40ish wgdc depending on rpm... Just throwing it out there so u know it's not that I'm maxing out my wgdc or anything.

I did try making a small unrelated adjustment to the map and reflashing, but same symptoms.

I do know that 22.7 is about where the stock map sensor read, but again, I have had a correctly calibrated 3 bar for quite some time.

Have you guys had this happen before? Is this a normal problem? DJ had not heard of this happening and I know that he tunes LOTS of cars.

Ok, so I just tried a different 3 bar map sensor and I tried going back to a non beta atr. I also updated ap manager. Yes, I resaved my map after all of this. None of that helped, my boost reading is still a max of 22.7. This value is held perfectly until I let off the gas.

and I tried my buddies 3 bar map values which he thought re remembered getting from the atr help file and the only difference was that the engine off value was .1 psi off more than mine. it still only went up to 22.7 and stopped there. PLEASE HELP COBB!!!

Ok, so the problem is with the displayed reading. I just took a mini log (in case I was over boosting, and the excel file shows values higher than 22.7, but on both the AP and the aeroforce gauge, it stops at 22.7. Have you guys seen this before? I also tried resetting the ecu. I think i did it right, it's been a while. I disconnected positive terminal and held down the brake for a couple of minutes.
